Implementation Engineer — Salesforce & Enterprise
About SimpleTest
SimpleTest is building the next generation of AI-powered continuous testing for enterprise applications.
Enterprise applications like Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, ServiceNow and nCino are highly customized, making software testing dramatically harder than testing traditional applications. SimpleTest uses AI to help teams create, automate, manage and continuously execute tests—with the goal of improving product quality, not simply generating more test cases.
We're an early-stage startup with an ambitious mission. This is one of our first customer-facing technical hires, and you'll have a direct impact on how our customers succeed with SimpleTest.
The Role
We're looking for an Implementation Engineer who loves working at the intersection of Salesforce, enterprise software and customer success.
This is not a passive support role. You'll own the technical onboarding journey for new customers—deploying and configuring SimpleTest within their Salesforce environments, training their teams and ensuring they get real value fast.
You'll work directly with customers, partners and internal teams across implementation, training, documentation and sales support. You should be equally comfortable on a customer call, writing technical docs and getting your hands dirty in a Salesforce org.
What You'll Own
- Deploy and configure SimpleTest within customer Salesforce environments, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality
- Guide customers through their product adoption journey by delivering onboarding sessions and assessing their existing Salesforce testing and DevSecOps processes
- Lead training webinars for customer and partner audiences—covering product features, new enhancements and best practices
- Create comprehensive technical documentation: setup guides, integration references, best-practice playbooks and release notes
- Support the sales process by delivering product demonstrations and technical deep-dives to prospective customers
- Collaborate with key customer stakeholders to consult on process improvements and recommend workflow enhancements
- Integrate SimpleTest with external platforms including GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket and Azure DevOps to enable CI/CD-native testing
- Train and enable SimpleTest's partner network so they can confidently onboard and support their own customers
- Collect and synthesize customer feedback to inform the product roadmap
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in implementation, solutions engineering, technical consulting or a similar customer-facing technical role
- Hands-on Salesforce experience—Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud or custom Salesforce applications
- Comfortable working directly in Salesforce orgs: configuration, metadata, sandboxes, deployments
- Experience with developer tools and DevSecOps workflows—GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills—you can explain complex technical concepts to both developers and business stakeholders
- Confident leading product demos, training sessions and webinars
- Highly organized—you manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously without dropping the ball
- Salesforce Administrator, Developer or Architect certifications
- Experience with test automation frameworks or QA tooling
- Familiarity with AI/LLM-based developer tools
- Startup or early-stage company experience
- Experience creating video tutorials or technical documentation at scale
- Background in partner enablement or channel programs
The Person We're Looking For
You might be a great fit if you:
Customer-first mindset.
You genuinely care about customer outcomes—not just closing tickets. You go out of your way to make sure customers succeed.
Technically fluent.
You're not an engineer, but you're close. You can read API docs, configure integrations and debug a deployment issue without breaking a sweat.
A natural teacher.
You love explaining things clearly. Whether it's a one-on-one call or a webinar for 200 people, you make complex things feel simple.
Highly organized.
You manage multiple customers, timelines and deliverables at once—and nothing falls through the cracks.
A builder.
You don't just follow the playbook—you help write it. You'll create the templates, docs and processes that scale the team.
Your First 90 Days
In the first 90 days, we'd expect you to:
Why Join SimpleTest?
This is a unique opportunity to be one of the first customer-facing technical hires at an early-stage AI company.
You won't be executing a script written by someone else—you'll help build SimpleTest's implementation methodology from scratch. The customers you onboard, the docs you write and the processes you create will define how the company scales.
If you love Salesforce, care deeply about customers and want your work to matter from day one—we'd love to hear from you.
Ready to build something great?
Send your resume and a brief note on why this role excites you. If you have examples of technical documentation, onboarding materials or demos you've built, we'd love to see them.
